It is said that helping others is the biggest religion. Help is something that is needed by every human being, whether you are old, child or youth; There comes a time in everyone's life when we need the help of others.
Today every person says that no one helps anyone, but you ask yourself - have you ever helped anyone? If not, how can you expect help from others?
There was a boy named Kishore who was very poor. After working hard all day, he would cut wood from the forest and sell it in the forest. One day Kishore was passing through the forest carrying a bundle of sticks on his head.
Suddenly he saw an old man on the way who was very weak and looked at him as if he had not eaten for a long time. Kishore's heart melted, but what would he do, he didn't have anything to eat himself, how would he feed that old man? Thinking of this, the teenager moved ahead with a sad heart.
After walking some distance, Kishore saw a woman whose child was crying with thirst because there was no water anywhere in the forest. Seeing the condition of the child, the teenager could not help but what could the poor man do, he himself did not have water in the forest. He went ahead again with a sad heart. Going some distance, Kishore saw a man who was looking for wood to set up a tent.
Kishore sold him the wood and in return he gave Kishore some food and water. Some thought came in the mind of the teenager and he ran back towards the forest with food and water. And went and fed food to the old man and also gave water to that woman's child. By doing this the teenager was feeling very good.
A few days later, Kishore was cutting wood by climbing a hill, suddenly his foot slipped and he fell down. His leg hurt badly and he started crying out in pain. Then the same old man came running and picked up the teenager. When that woman came to know, she also came and tore her sari and bandaged her feet. Kishore was feeling much better now.
By helping others, we are actually helping ourselves. When we help others, only then someone else will help us when in need. So today, while reading this story, make a promise that you will definitely help someone everyday, if not everyday, at least once a week, if not once a month.
It is not necessary to help with money, you can help an old person cross the road or give water to a thirsty person or give advice to a desperate person or feed someone. Believe me, you will get a lot of happiness while doing this and people will definitely help you.
