The collector saw the water level of Narmada river after reaching Sethanighat

Hoshangabad: Collector Shilendra Singh, in view of the continuous rains and the water being released from various dams in the district, reached Shetanighat this evening and saw the rising water level of Narmada River. The collector said that the water level of Narmada river is still at alarm level. He told the officials of the flood disaster staff that they were alert.

Monitor the lower slum area where there is a possibility of waterlogging and the villages where waterlogging may occur. Before the emergency is created, make all arrangements to reach the affected people at the flood relief centers. The collector said that he himself is constantly touring. He asked the officials to also monitor their respective areas. Special care should be taken that no unpleasant situation is created.
