His ancestor, Emperor Nagabhatta Pratihar, organized the practice of providing permanent salaries and cash to him and he got strengthened in this time and the great army of Pratihar / Parihar Rajput kingdom stood up. This is the first example of Indian history, when an army is given cash salaries.
